Ver. 1.5.0 Update Announcement

We will be releasing a major update, Ver. 1.5.0, on March 16!
This update will add the new Party Rumble mode, as well as new Starter Missions, and new features that will allow players to earn rewards from continued play.

We hope you'll enjoy all the new content coming in version 1.5.0, with updates aimed at addressing player feedback we've received, and ensuring everyone has plenty more to look forward to in Sonic Rumble in the future!

Update Details

New Mode: Party Rumble

We're adding Party Rumble, a new party-style mode for quick and casual play!
Party Rumble serves up a variety of quick one-round games, including high-speed skateboard races, collecting the most Chao, striking a pose on a podium, and more.

Along with Party Rumble, we're also adjusting the difficulty of some stages and the game controls to provide an even more enjoyable experience overall.
We're also adding a ton of new stages - more than 30! Here's a preview of just a few.

Starter Missions

We're adding Starter Missions, geared towards new players!

As you complete missions, you can earn skins, buddies, rings, and other rewards, as well as unlock new features that give you more options for play, so be sure to work your way through them!
*Current users who have already progressed to certain play milestones will be provided separate rewards to make up for Starter Mission rewards.

Toy Capsules

We're adding Toy Capsules, a new way to obtain items and rewards!

Each round you play fills your meter more, and when it's full, you'll have a chance to open a Toy Capsule!
You'll also have a chance to upgrade the Toy Capsule's rarity when you open it.
If the upgrade succeeds, you'll have a chance to get especially fantastic prizes!

Prizes include Skin Fragments, Season Score Bonuses, and Puzzle Pieces that come with a 100 Red Star Ring reward once you collect all the pieces to complete the puzzle!

Rumble Plus Benefits

Rumble Plus subscribers will now get their Toy Capsules automatically upgraded by one level of rarity.
Rarer capsules are a big help when hunting for those extra-special prizes!

UI Adjustment for Skin Fragments

We've adjusted the UI to make it easier to see how many Skin Fragments you have.
You can see Skin Fragments for the current season in the top right corner on the Home Screen. You can also convert Fragments to skins from the same spot.
We've also added a tab for fragments on the Customize screen. You can check on your current fragments, or convert them to skins from there as well.

Other Adjustments

Increased Red Star Ring Rewards

We're adding Red Star Rings to free Season Passes. We're also swapping some Stage Challenge rewards to Red Star Rings instead of points.
*Players who've already gotten the point rewards for these Stage Challenges will be provided with Red Star Rings separately.

PC Version UI Adjustments

We've added more options to the Settings menu on PC to allow for a wider range of optimization.

Score Rank Adjustments

We've changed the number of grades in Score Ranks.

Crew Score Missions & Clash of the Crews Rewards Adjustments

We've increased the rewards for Crew Score Missions and Clash of the Crews.

Co-op Battles and Squad Mode Score Increase

The score earned for these modes will gain a multiplier based on your performance, the type of boss, and other factors.

Retiring some Modes and Features

We will be retiring Special Rumbles, Quick Rumbles, Amy's Requests & Dr. Eggman's Challenges.

Changes to Score Booster Usage

Score Boosters will now be used each round, rather than each match (3 rounds).
*If you had any Score Boosters before the update, their quantity will be tripled.

New Squad Booster Items

We're implementing a new Squad Booster, which boosts the score of your entire Squad.

New Super Attack Item

We're implementing a new Super Attack Item, which can be brought into Co-op Battles and used to deal heavy damage to a boss.

Updates to Crews

Once per day, by sending a message or Sticker to your Crew, you can earn Rings.
PC version players will now also be able to join Treasure Hunts.
You can also now send friend requests directly from the Crew screen.
